It's not just about our comfort at a concert Frank. It's about those people out there who don't know DMB, and maybe just with the smalles exposure on tv or the radio it could generate another fan like you, or any number of people on this board.

Yea youre totally right, and while it wasnt a TV apperance or smoething that got me into the band, it could have been.

However, selfish or not, id rather keep the integrity of the music than have more casual fans. The music is the most important thing. And whether or not theres a strong direct link between popularity and the decline in their music, im not sure, but we've definantely seen a correlation

I think there is. It's clear that they are trying to step out of their normal routine of making music in an attempt to appeal to more people. Maybe if they had more exposure from the start, that wouldn't have happened.
