Magical release. Like other have said; spliting Minarets and Typical was just plain stupid

Yeah it's kind of confusing.

The only track I skip over on this is Satellite. Not sure what it is, but I can't get into this version of Satellite :lol

I mean, the AUD recording was tracked to start D3 at #41 and it made perfect sense. Leave it to them to screw it up somehow :lol

Still one of the best releases out there. For me, this and Red Rocks are untouchable top level releases. The only thing I think could beat either of them out is a release of 12/3/98 (maybe 12/7/98)

just chock-full of filthy performances throughout.

We do need another LT with the Flecktones

This release is incredible, the performance is very tight

The whole Typical is amazing, but I specifically love the first couple of mins w/ Victor laying down some smooth bass. Just sick.

I wouldn't say this is "tight" at all. It's a pretty damn loose, raw feel throughout the whole entire show -- especially with the Flecktones guesting.

unless you mean the other meaning of tight.

The whole Typical is amazing, but I specifically love the first couple of mins w/ Victor laying down some smooth bass. Just sick.

If they want to sell tickets to the NYC Caravan Stop, featuring at least one night of potential Bela + DMB, they should give away the #41 from this LT as a free download.

McCandless is totally inaudible during the tradeoff solos in Typical. I wish you could hear him better.

Only complaint. Maybe the best collaboration the band has ever done.

Loving all the thread tops for good LTs. This release can't be praised enough. Give us more like this one!

Yep.

Ya, not sure why I didn't "grab" it sooner. I wish the ants jam was longer like the one on tdc vol.1 disc 4.

Yeah it'd be tough to top this one. This and Red Rocks are the pinnacle for me. A 12/3/98 release would probably tie with those as well.

Well he's not much more upfront on the audience recording. He just wasn't captured on the mic that well. Maybe he was too far.
