I was bored today and started flipping through some old threads and many a time I thought "damn, I would love to top this" or "man I would love to call X out on this now."
I know I could always create a new thread, but it's not the same without the original context.
Have you guys given any thought to re-opening those threads for us to post in? I'm sure there are a lot of repeat threads by now, so going through and merging a bunch is probably the last thing any of the mods want to do. There's just a lot of gold buried in there that I think most of us have forgotten about by now and I imagine not too many people take the time to read through those threads since they know they can't post in them.
Are those threads locked because you wanted to start over with an entirely new board/community? I'm just curious if this is even possible or what the train of thought was behind locking down all those threads.
Thanks!
