Anyway, just scored some pit tix for night 2 so it looks like I may have a couple extra. One is section 7 row w and the other is section 12 I think.

yeah none of them are enforced at all.

they have cops on horseback ride around to act like they're doing something, but that's about it. they'll really only bust the underage drinkers. and by bust i mean ride their horses nearby. if they see stuff getting crazy on the lawn they'll pull people out.
the horseback cops made us pour out our beers a couple years back...sucked, but we just grabbed another out of the cooler and went on with the day

i also thought i was busted by state troopers smoking a huge blunt prior to phish in 04, but it turns out they just wanted us to pour our beer into plastic cups

ALSO just take this for what it's worth and realize that I've never really posted a "rumor" on the boards before.

My friend dates this girl whose father is apparently some kind of lawyer for Trey. I don't think he's the main one that was in court with him, but he knows Trey. They've had dinner before, and do frequently apparently. Anyway, I was with both my friend and his girlfriend and she was talking about how they were arranging Trey to show up at SPAC again this summer at a recent dinner. No idea if it's one show or both, but I'd say Trey will be showing up at least once.

that'd be pretty awesome...trey and tim with dmb is pretty much my wet dream...and i thought dave and friends was cool...

also, i read somewhere they might be taping one of the nights? i have no idea how true that is, but that would be pretty awesome

My suggestion would be to get there early and just park it by the venue gates. Then just get a spot near the front. Those front of the lawn spots are just as good as some of the back reserved seats. Plus you can get out by just ducking under the metal bar and going up a side ramp. The lawn really doesn't fill up until the opener or mid way through the opener. A LOT of the turds don't really file in until they hear the band start. You'll find it quite easy to get a spot as long as you're one of the first ones in the actual venue. I don't know if you've ever been there before, but SPAC is like a venue inside of a large state park. You're allowed into the park to tailgate or whatever before the show, but the doors to the venue don't open until something like 6. There aren't usually too many people sitting at the gates waiting to get in either.

So I hope that helps in some way.

Nice. I know a lot of people who work for the new news station up there. I went to Lyndon State, which is a big broadcast media school. I think I probably know 4 or 5 on air folks there (I think it's a Fox station).

I love that city...Outside of Boston, Burlington might be my second favorite.

there are assloads of SPAC tickets on the WH boards as well. It seems as demand for SPAC went from it's all time high to it's all time low in the better part of a week.
