Im surprised this is not at Nokia. Seems like they are trying to book everything there coming to town

Nokia only holds about 7,000 people though. No way would they play two small venues like that in the same part of the country. I'm really suprised they're doing it with Berkeley considering it's not that legendary of a venue like Red Rocks and they have Shoreline there.

Right. Lots of bands are now playing Nokia though that would normally play Staples. Tool for example sold out Staples 2 nights in 06 and did just 1 at Nokia (super fast sell out) in December

As I put in that other thread my CC got stolen yesterday. I actually called the WH around 3 PST and they had not hit up cards for this series yet...

We may be getting confirmed for these late night tomorrow night. The only thing that may make things quicker is that there might not be as many requests for these shows.

i'll be there. how's the tailgate scene? any local dive bars to go around the area?

No tailgating at the shows since there is no main parking area. As far as bars go there are two really close hotel bars within easy walking distance (about a block or so). The Holiday Inn has a bar as does the Figueroa Hotel. Both are north of the arena straight up Figueroa.

Jumped off a friends boot in the Marina and landed on a cleat on the dock. Twisted and snapped my left foot. Total freak accident.

I am actually more worried about the Berkeley shows than LA. That place is so hilly, there is no way I could last on the lawn. I have no idea what to do
