Venue Information:
The Darien Lake Performing Arts Center was opened in 1993 as a replacement for the Lakeside Amphitheater, where concerts had previously been held. The PAC, as it is commonly referred to, while owned by CNL with the rest of the park, is operated by Live Nation, not by the park itself. Major concerts are held here periodically throughout the summer, occasionally including a concert that takes place when the park is not open. Tickets for these events can be upgraded to Park Combo Passes, or just bought as standard concert tickets with no park admission.

From the NY State Thruway (I-90) to Exit 48A and head 5 miles south on Route 77. It is approximately 30 miles from downtown Buffalo. Travel East on Route 20 for the Thruway, and watch for signs!

I'll be there, but only because it is the summer opener and I have never been to one. Hate the ampitheatre and the parking lot and the people that go there. Will defintely be getting the Premier Parking.

I live in Rochester, and I refuse to go here. Terrible venue. Glad they have the SYR date this year.

It's well deserved. If you live in western NY, go to the SYR show instead. Better yet make the trip to SPAC too.

I live in Rochester as well and I will be going to SPAC and SYR. Like I said, never been to a tour opener and that is the only reason I am going. I feel like my hate for th venue is well justified.

hate all you want, last years show was awesome. and it featured, IMO, the best version of ants of the summer. for my first time at darien lake last year, i ad a blast. i will be attending this year also.


parking does suck ass though.

my "home" venue, can't pass up the tour opener! It's cool to live in ROCKchester, NY for once. I'm excited. yeah horrible venue/sound/lot but... the band always plays GREAT sets and the security is so lazy the tailgating is always a blast, you literally can do whatever you want.

306 row 8 :-\ not the greatest but oh well. i could have prolly gotten better with instants, but i had a fear of not being able to sell my extra pair, as their are still reserved's left on livenation.

I just found out I don't start my new job until the week after the concert so I'm going to try to make it. It will be my first time at Darien.

you won't be disappointed, especially since it's the tour opener, gonna be a shit show.

I got Section 200 row 4. Not that close, but not gonna complain about being pretty much dead center which is where ya wanna be at Darien 'cause of the sound

200s are pretty great at Darien, IMO. I got 300s, would have loved to get 200s.

This is my first time at Darien since 2004. The 2006 and 2008 shows looked awesome, so I'm hoping the trend continues. Usually Darien gets good stuff.

oh yeah I know, I've sat in 200s before, last year i had 15th row in 101 but I'm actually happier about being a section back and in the center.

Just won some free tickets from a contest from Time Warner. Haven't seen the band in a while, hopefully it'll be a good show.
