All I really want are Write A Song and Black Jack, simply because I've never seen them live before. Aside from that, I just want the shows to be fun. I'm not expecting anything either.

I built myself up for a big letdown at Alpine this year.

this year was my first trip to Alpine, and while the place was awesome, I was a little disappointed as well. Just because it's always been on of the DMB meccas and it certainly fell a bit short.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a more recent article since DMB was actually picked as the act but there are several from around March or so before DMB was announced, saying that whoever got the Wrigley shows would have a late start time:

According to the Pace Bus schedule, the bus picks up at 4pm, does anyone who have rode this bus know if they are continuous and it starts running at 4pm, or is this the only time it picks up? Also, how long after a concert would it continue running?
What bus are you talking about? You can easily check the schedule on http://www.pacebus.com/sub/schedules/default.asp to see when it runs.

Wow - a lot of tickets available now. Tempts me to go Friday, but I'm only doing Saturday. I hope I don't regret it!

seems like the sets have gotten progressively more "meh" since mid August. I'm counting on this weekend being radio friendly and safe. And I know I'm going to have to watch I Did It. :(

N1 they started at all different times. Then, N2 it seemed as if more people were there earlier to get posters because they knew the hell that it was on N1.

They started selling posters n1 at around 1:30-- I hopped out of the GA line to go buy one and managed to snag two more (1 for friend in line, one for the guy holding my place). N2, I got down to the stadium at around 4 and they were all long gone.

However, apparently they had a bunch of extras @ the Warehouse VIP event over at the Cubby Bear. I ended up convincing someone to go in and get me one for a couple bucks handling fee. Figured it was worth $20 to save myself the shipping on eBay and the time bidding on auctions.
