I thought it was okay. Not quite as hysterical as past episodes. I just finished watching all of season 2 within 3 days, those episodes were generally better. I think I'm still getting used to the new cast members.

what did he do to be a huge douche? because he's dating someone better looking then pam who didn't dump him? or because jan gave him the job dwight thought he had?

yeah that was the american equivalent of the "black man's cock, bigger then a breadbox" joke from the original british merger.

Not a bad ep at all, but i think i liked the last one a little more. i'll have to rewatch The Merger before making a definite call.

i was pumped that Andy came to Scranton, but i wish everyone else didn't. maybe just Karen, Andy and one other person. there are just too many people in that office now. hopefully some others will quit.

also, it's a good thing Oscar is gone because they need the extra desk space to fit all the new people.

i dont like pam, jim is better off with the new girl. pam is a secretary with no ambition whatsoever who already shot him down for no good reason.

unlike tim on the british version, who was a massive tool who lived with his mother, who wasnt going to better then dawn anyway, jim actually seems like a normal guy.

That's just his character. All his scheming revolves around pranks on Dwight. Other than that, he has always been the voice of reason. He's a professional. That's why his conflict was Charles was so out of the ordinary/funny... he was/is severely misunderstood.

As a relatively new watcher, he seems like the straight man; an extremely hilarious straight man, but the straight man nonetheless.

I really loved the season finale; one of the greatest things about the show is how they have these arcane, awkward and usually hilarious episodes, but then there are moments that are truly touching without being cloying. I'm remembering when Michael quit Dundler Mifflin, and how it was not played for laughs at all.

The best moments of the finale for me were those moments, like Michael's very adult moment at the end of the episode. I also thought the acting by Jim (his name escapes me right now) was great; the look on his face after he hangs up on Dwight was one of my favorite moments this season.

It's easily their strongest comedy. Yea yea, 30 Rock, whatever. If The Office doesnt win the emmy next year its a crime. This season was far better than 30 Rocks.

Andy is my favorite character by far. I loved his and Dwight's banjo/guitar duel.

Also something bad has to happen to Charles...the way that whole thing played out with him and Jim was just so...bizarre (in a hilarious way)...I don't think there's really any other word for it. I saw it playing out that Charles would get on Jim's nerves so much (or some variation) that he would leave to join the Michael Scott Paper Company.

I loved when Stanley saw Ryan for the first time with his hair how he just started laughing at him, that was soo funny, coz I did the same thing.

season three will most likely remain my favorite season of the office. last season wasn't bad so im interested in seeing where they go with it. i had a friend who said the office is one of those shows that needs to "wrap it up", but the plot doesn't continue from season to season in the same way that a show like lost does; requiring closure.

a huge element of the show was lost when pam and jim got together.

it's weird because everyone always wanted them to, but then when they did it was kinda like.. uhh... what now?

all the happiness and perfectness of their relationship got annoying for a bit, but then they threw in some cool little road bumps. I think there are bigger ones to come.

but still, that complex of jims character and pams character from season 1 through 3 is just an awesome story.
