I am first and foremost a Beatles fan but was not excited for this "LOVE" release. I then listened to the 4 tracks you could preview. After listening to the first track Strawberry Fields, I got excited. Octopus's Garden, Lady Madonna, & While My Guitar Gently Weeps made it clear that this was gonna actually be a really cool and "new" release. Well, now the CD is available for preview in its entirity at www.thebeatles.com/hearlove and am listening to it now. It is definatelly really cool so far! I recommend you all to check it out!

I'm listening now, it's amazing. This is the way a compelation should be done. Leave it to the beatles to be on the cutting edge of something unique musically.

Edit: I'm up to Gnik Nus and I just realized that it's Sun King backwards.

Anyone else's, who may be listening at this hour, getting frozen right after the Drive My Car/The Word/What you're doin' medley? It's pissing me off.

Listened to this last night, fucking awesome. Love it. One of the better albums of 2006. It just seems so fresh and it is almost invigorating to listen to.

I downloaded this like a week ago, it's amazing.

I was skeptical at first too, but it grew on me very quickly. Very well done

I was excited about this after watching a special on Access Hollywood about the show itself and am not disappointed. I love the idea of the album and how it turned out. There isn't much you can really say about it since we all already know how grea the originals are but so far I really like Lucy, Octopus, Within Without/Tomorrow Never Knows and the Mr. Kite medley was pretty sweet.

So glad I bought the 5.1 version too.

if you put the itunes visualizer on while listening to this it's even better.

for those of you who haven't heard it yet and/or "love" The Beatles; this is a great read.

cherry pop post...

I was also skeptical at first cause it seemed like just another run through of their tunes. After listening to it I have a different outlook. It's worth the download, I'd argue that it may not be worth the purchase though, unless your a huge Beatles fan. I enjoyed the Blackbird/Yesterday, and when I Want To Hold Your Hand came on the remaster and crisp sound just brought huge life to the track. I think the key to the albums success is the great flow and sequencing.

Wow, ok, I'll have to give this a listen. I'm a huge Beatles fan, to the point of just being annoyed that the Martins were going to try to redo their stuff...but now I'm intreigued. Or however the fuck you spell that.
