no, unless you live in the area, there is no reason to go.

anyone who thinks these shows are to "try out new material" or some bullshit like that are ridiculously gullible

i want to go to vegas in the spring, i would go to this show, but i cant afford to get tickets right now so i wont be buying them. if they did this warehouse lottery in late january i would almost definitely go.

i'm sure it will be a fun and memorable weekend for those that attend - DMB and Vegas... seems like there are always good stories the times some form of the band has played there.

this is their first time back full band since '01?

I would if my Spring Break was that week instead of the week before.

Only because we were thinking of going to Vegas before, and this would tip it over the top.

exactly.

if i lived in the area id def. go. but i wouldn't make a special trip to vegas for DMB.

Id consider it if it fell over my spring break, and if I could spend a week in vegas. but to just go for 2 days and do nothing else in vegas is retarded.

I might be town for a conference the next week, so I'm thinking about going the weekend before. We will see.

they really need to stop doing preorders 4 months in advance.

Yeah, other than having a great weekend in Vegas, and seeing your favorite band in concert too. DMB shows don't have to be "special/legendary" to be fun.

no. they'll probably be rusty anyway. and besides, there's better things to do in vegas than go to dmb shows.

I'm sure these will be their practice shows for Australia. That means greatest hits sets.

I'm actually planning on going... I got the E-mail and deleted it thinking no way I'd ever actually go. Then my girlfriend called and said her parents have a timeshare and wanted to know if we could use it. She just happened to look up ones in Vegas, and they had one available that week, so we have free accommodations. I looked up Southwest and the flights are only $80 each way. So now we're planning on going from Wed-Tues and making a whole trip of it. I'll just request for one show while we're there.

It's pretty cool--now we're trying to get all of our friends to go with us and make a whole trip out of it.

Yes. I'll be in LA and would have been heading home on the 21st. I'll just head to Vegas instead. Make a long weekend of it with some friends there. :rawk

It's the weekend before my birthday, and I'm quite a fan of Vegas, so maybe I'll head out there. I was already trying to figure out when to go in the next 6 months.

yup, i'll be there both nights. loved the venue for dave & tim and i'll always take an excuse to go screw around in vegas. hell, last time they were in vegas full band they played minarets and seek up...

fat chance in hell of that happening again.

That's why I'm going. The shows are during my spring break and I was already considering going to Vegas.

my birthday is march 22. this would be sweet.

price of tickets and the fact that the ordering period is 4 months before the shows (?!) will cause me to not attend.

Was planning to hit Vegas with a few buddies for a poker trip this winter break but nobody can go.. so this is perfect. The shows fall on spring break, might make it out then.

I was really thinking about going to these shows, but 69.50 plus for tickets times four, not to mention airfare and a hotel, obviously you can go the cheap way and stay off strip but that blows, but even the cheap hotels on the strip are to much money. Its a shame too because any weekend in March is a good time to go to Vegas because of March Madness, add in two DMB shows and thats a full on blasty blast.

Most likely, it is during my spring break and was planning some sort of trip for that.

Would likely only hit one night, though. Gotta make that decision.
