I think they should go back and do the stuff that got dropped or hasnt seen a live release.

Joyride (06)
Sweet Up and Down (00)
Good Good Time (7-10-04)
Blue Water (93) (Full Version, maybe the one with Warren)
Crazy Easy (04)
Shotgun (06)
#34 with words (93)
Kill the King (06)

Pig 4.4.02
A good SUAD
a good Crazy-Easy 7.16 or 6.17 most likely

i feel they stopped playing it because it will be on the next album...didnt want to over play it. the track has some real potential. i dunno just what i thought when it vanished.

But why? Let's let it hopefully get a good set of lyrics and come out on an official release.

Well, that's pretty retarded logic. They stopped playing it because it is not an easy song, it is lyrically demanding, and DMB is lazy. I think it'll make the album, but i also think IOY and Break Free will too. Those two saw a lot of play.

Well we can pretty much all agree that if somebody has the opinion that Shotgun is just another song that is part of the demise of DMB, then they are done with DMB.

And the mixed reaction to Joyride. "DMB doing DMB." Isn't that what we all want? Sometimes I just have to chuckle.

haha...i guess we just looked at it different. maybe some of that lazyness will go away with some new tunes in heavy rotation.

But you know you are going to get:

If they put a Crazy Easy or a Shotgun on there. No matter what else is there, I will still be happy.

But I do predict a Hunger on this one . . . with all the guests they had on it last year, they have to put one on there with a horn guest. It just seems like the move that will be made.

again though it's not realistic because they'v yet to repeat a song on the WH discs and you have 4 repeats. I can see them putting Shotgun on the 2007 Album bonus disc, but not a WH 5 yet.

My only objection to the pre-95 stuff being on the WH discs is that really decent soundboard recordings already exist of most of it...the benefit to the archived sbd stuff from say 2000 up is that you dont have to fight the crowd for the song in the recording. The pre-95 stuff (well pre-WWYS release date anyway hahahahhha) is already good because there were no crowds to fight.
