It's not a shell replacement, it just sits over your shell so it's resource intensive. You should really look into Litestep (http://www.litestep.com/). Talk about cool. (not for computer tards though)

I don't know why but people that put all the skins and crap in Windows to make it look like OS X really bother me.

It really doesn't cost a ton, computer wise, for a quality mac now either. I got the lowest end Macbook, refurbed, for 949, and it runs just great.

because some people were raised on windows and feel more comfortable with it. they are just computers, man. people that are exclusively one or the other, pc or mac, are the biggest nerds. it's a freaking computer. oh, and i get tired of that gay colored pinweel making me use forcequit.

Meh, the only thing I ever upgrade is RAM, and I'm too lazy to learn Linux.

To each his own. I don't fault anyone for using PC or Mac. Being a graphics person most people assume I use a Mac but I don't.

I work in IT and I'm working on/with PC's all day. When I'm at home I never touch my PC and I only use my Mac, so I do use both and am not an exclusive fanboy of either platform.

I do know that each has their own strengths, but now that you can install and run Windows on a Mac I see no reason for people that have always been curious about Macs to give it a test spin. Especially since Macs have come down so much in price (as Bill mentioned).
