I have to disagree with you. When you work as a studio musician (which I do), it starts to become work...not in a "boring" sense or anything...but trust me, when you make a living, or even a majority of your living, by doing studio music, it does tend to lose some of that magic of the first-time musician going into the studio and being blown away by it all.

Honestly, when I go into the studio now, even with my own group, I feel totally relaxed, calm, and just ready to play and get out. It's not like playing live, where there's always the excitement and energy and the chance that something will happen, because if anything different or "wrong" happens live, you can fix it and make something amazing, but in the studio, you either cut it or overdub it...even if it's something that stays in the song, you'll end up playing it so many times that it won't be overly exciting and new by the time it's done.

Ugh, I hate the whole "work" shit, like it's so boring or something.I agree, but then I noticed the word work came after a line where a grown man typed out "WEEEEEEE!", which makes work look less bad.

True, but I'm sure if he's actually doing all that stuff with his 3 kids it definitely takes a lot out of you...then to have a full day on top of that :yawn

I like the half hour of cuddling the wife. "OK, babe, your thirty minutes are up, now leave me the hell alone so I can spend time with my TiVo."

And how does he watch multiple shows in a half hour?

We brought that beat back again and again on Idear of Youse. Plus, we've worked out Can't Stop to be a MONSTER 18 minute jam, with Dave mooing every time Carter hits his snare. Did I mention I wrote that one?

It's DMB.
He said he was gonna do more Haunted Hollow entries as they get deeper into the session. So far, nothing yet.

it's good to see he's doing his own thing with his own music and working so hard on loving his kids. I think I speak for everyone however, when I say I hope to god it doesn't interfere with the dedication required to write HFTGLv2.0

Yeah. When he's trying, he can be serious though. I think he wrote a serious bit on IZStyle about death or something during the summer... don't remember exactly. And didn't he help write Dreaming Tree or something? I dunno, I like to think he's not a total joke. :lol

Having a 4 month old daugher that sleeps till 8am would be a dream for most couples I"m sure.

I'd like to see a daily schedule for the rest of the guys as well. I'd say Rashawn's would probably be the funniest. 1-5pm: KFC 6-7PM: shine trumpet and shotgun
