Well you can do two of one things. Experiance a new and very fun way of gaming, or watch movies in HD. I'm ok with low-def movies for the time being. So I'd go with a Wii. That's just me.

Wii.. Unless you've already spent a decent amount of money on a quality HD tv with HDMI. Even then, i'd still prolly say wii.

Wii, hands down. I think if I ever got into the whole HD DVD thing, all it would do is make watching movies on anything but my HD DVD player less pleasant.

I still don't see the appeal in the Wii, so I say go for the 360.

i already got 360
i have a 21' hp f2105 hdtv monitor in my room and it's big enough to watch dvd's on, i think. but it only goes to 720p. but i would hook up the wii to my 27' sdtv (non widescreen) tv

oh, wait. if you already have 360... do you really need 2 brand new systems? scratch my above post and go for the dvd player.

or buy a wii, and love it until the ps3 is at a reasonable price. 3-4 years from now....

i have the wii and 360 and its a tossup. The 360 has great graphics with really good shooters, plus halo 3 eventually. But the wii is great as it actually takes skill to be good at games. For example Madden is a ton of fun because its more than just pressing buttons, you actually do motions with both hands so it takes more skill to be good.

Go to wiihaveaproblem.com With the Wii, you might end up needing a new TV. Go with the HD dvd player!

If you have a little common sense YOU WILL NOT BREAK YOUR T.V.! I mean do people play Wii Sports and when they pitch let go of the controller??? I'm not understanding this. I mean I could take a dual shock controller and throw it at my t.v. and I'm sure I'll achieve similar results.
