This is just great. Fantastic solo and playing by Haynes. Yeah, Dave flubs the second pre-chorus, but it's kind of neat anyway.

I've had this, but those who don't, download it. It's really good. Sure, he doesn't hit the falsettos, or even get the end of the second verse right, but who cares- it's still a great version with an awesome jam!

Hmm, I remember having this a few nights after the show and not really enjoying it. I'll have to give it another listen.

I briefly skimmed the title and thought you were talking about the 7/29/02 #41 until I saw you mention Haynes in your post, but that SPAC performance is also worth mentioning. Butch's solo in the middle is a great listen with him teasing "Sojourn of Arjuna" and 'Roi comes right in with some great licks as well. Definitely up there with some of my favorite versions :upyours

Great version.. glad to see it getting some recognition. That #41 was the tour debut. It was kind of forgot about because of the #41 with the Flecktones the week after. 7.29 was a pretty strong show besides the IDOY trainwreck. The band left the stage for the mid-set Sister, and then for Can't Stop Stefan came out playing the bass line alone and the rest of the band followed after which was kind of cool.
