You think? I always thought that the Cardinals stadium looked like a coiled snake. This new Cowboys stadium looks more like a football, or a big steel vagina.

And it's about time that the Cowboys receive a new home because Texas stadium is horrible. It's painful to look at.

I think it was between paying off out nations debt or building this stadium.

I think the correct choice was made, and I hate the cowboys.

i think so...only difference is we have those giant metal panels hanging on the sides where as this stadium lacks the panels and the outer walls have what look like windows? plus the retractable field and the way they designed the stands in that opened endzone...they don't look exactly the same, but i think they are very similar

What a damn waste.

And the traffic is going to be terrible. Glad I moved to VA.

There will be 14 approaches from major highways into the new stadium in Arlington, compared with three at Texas Stadium.

From a regional standpoint the new stadium will be one of the most accessible venues ever planned. The Arlington Entertainment District is the beneficiary of $270 million in improvements to the area highways that will directly benefit the new stadium. This infrastructure investment will provide new and improved access to the venue from three exits off of I-30 and upgrade the interchange at Hwy 360 and Division.

...

I lived 10 miles from where this stadium will be, and even though they mowed over the majority of the crap that was around, there is no way it can be a good thing for traffic. I don't care what they say.

Besides, they said the same thing about the Ballpark in Arlington and it's a traffic nightmare as well. And now they are within 5-10 miles of each other, good thing football season and baseball season don't overlap too much. Although they have been working on I-30 for the past 9 years now. Perhaps they will finish one day and it will help out traffic, but I don't think I'm going to get my hopes up.

The part of Arlington they chose for this too is absolutely terrible. It's the worst part of Arlington without a doubt. The only good thing that could come from this stupid stadium is maybe that part of town will shape up a little bit. But other than that, I feel bad for Arlington residents, especially those around it.

It's really easy actually. I mean seriously, take a step back and look at football as a whole, and tell me what there really is to love.

If you knew how many times I'd heard that, you would understand how annoyed I am right now.

When you live somewhere that sports are THE thing to do, you understand just how stupid they really are. Well, if you pull your head out of your ass, you understand, otherwise, you just follow the crowd.

It's all cool man, I wasn't really too annoyed at you, more at the fact that this is the response I get all the time.

It just gets old when every time you bring up your home state you automatically get asked about sports. Especially when you can't stand sports. Although it is funny to see the look on peoples face when you do tell them you don't watch football. It's like you just shot their dog or something.
