Hippies unite.

I had an ok time in '05, the heat is just absolutely ridiculous...no way I'd buy a ticket before seeing the lineup anyways.

Heat wasnt as bad this year as it was in 03. That year was just stupid hot.

And yeah, Id have to see a lineup to consider going. 6 months ahead is just a wee bit long to know what im doing around that time.

I would love to believe this lineup rumor, but, Bob Dylan headlining? I doubt it.

I was there in '04 and bob dylan played right before dave and friends and was horrible. Not only did his voice sound bad, he started an hour and half late. No need for that.

I actually live in Manchester, TN (where Bonnaroo is). And the owners have actually purchased the land that Bonnaroo is held on so that they can continue doing it for years to come. They also plan to do several other concerts/festivals all year long.

Would be interesting to see the crowd with Dylan and PJ headlining.

I think The Police being in this lineup is a lot more interesting than anyone else. Dylan I could truly believe...but the Police???

I'm still not believing The Police are going to be there either, I think this rumor might be off base quite a bit.

Wow. That's nuts. I thought they were going to be there for sure. Those dates were free which made sense for a blackout around the festival. I wonder what happened.

i read somewhere that there was an interview in Rolling Stone that Trey Anastasio said he thought the Tool would be a good band in perform at Bonnaroo because of their psychedelic shows. Their sound doesnt really match up with all those other bands. It would still be pretty interesting though.

Such an insane lineup. I'm glad their starting to combine my genres. I've always had to choose to go more folky/jammy at Bonnaroo, or go more rockish at Coachella or Lollapalooza. I'm glad that I don't have to really choose anymore. I've always been a big White Stripes fan (13 shows between 2002 and 2005), so them being there is fantastic. Flaming Lips is great, The Police, and a ton of smaller bands (Cold War Kids especially) who I wouldn't get a chance to see otherwise. I'm definitely going to go.

eh, not a bad line-up, but still not enough to get me to want to go again.

I watched a thing on HDNet about the 04 Bonnaroo and I will definitely not go to that. I thought I was out of my element at Christmas Jam, and it looks like it isn't even close to the people level of Bonnaroo.

its not that bad actually. Everyone is pretty chill and people take care of each other.

Is there going to be a TDC meetup?

Can't go this year :( I'm a little sad. I had fun last year, but the vibe changed a bit from previous years. It was awesome though because I got to cover the fest for a music mag.

I love that Bonnaroo special. It is cool how they interweave DM and the Black Keys....BK's on an old VW or whatever and then they show DM in that pimpin tour bus.

I love the BK's.

This year would be so great to go to. Would love to see the Stripes there.

I wont go Vegoose just because of the setup. It seems like a lot less bang for your buck
