I'm sure the rest of your state is wonderful, and they do have casinos, but the highways need to be firebombed.

95... usually I go 84, but I was informed that there was construction in Waterbury and I didn't want to deal with that.

Wasn't even that bad; I just always seem to hit traffic no matter what hour I get into the state.

merritt parkway is the way to go .. that is if youre going from new haven westward.

95 blows constantly... especially during the holidays, so no surprise there

and there has been "construction" in waterbury on 84 for years... just becomes something that we accept and deal with

Damn straight. Driving to NY, and having to go through Waterbury, is a bitch sometimes. Fucking Waterbury :oar But, besides the shitty highways & the corrupt politicians (google Phil Giordano, ironically the former-Waterbury mayor-turned-pedophile :oar ) CT is pretty nice

Any major road in Fairfield County completely sucks ass during rush hour. Also...I don't think they DOT has ever actually completed a road project...ever...
