I'll be there. I'm not crazy about the venue (or Hartford in general) but it's a convenient drive for me. They rocked the second night last summer, so I have high hopes for this year too.

The amp. itself and especially the sound in it is quite nice. It's just everything else about it that sucks man ass.

If you avoid the lots and don't wander around Hartford too much, it's not too bad.

the area has gotten worse every year for the last 9. It's not the true ghetto, but read the google/yahoo reviews on the hotels there. When dmb isn't in town, it's pretty shaddy. I still love it, and I got robbed there during a dmb show.

There's nothing there - a few hotels, some restaurants and I assume its deserted when dmb isn't there - but with that said, its pretty much the furthest thing from being anywhere near the 'ghetto'

it's within two miles of 'you might just get shot standing on your porch' ghetto.

I had several friends who went to trinity and the whole area is ghetto.

The area around Trinity is so thug. It's funny, because if you drive five minutes into West Hartford it's prep city.

the areas around trinity and the meadows are night and day.. not even remotely comparable to be honest

whatever though, i tend to get defensive about the meadows. seems to bother me when people bash on it for no real good reason(ghetto, bad sound, etc.) other then the majority of people that attend of course.

Tell me about it! I know its a random seating situation but seriously thats a pretty big price different for just about 20 feet closer to the stage.

I'll probably try to upgrade as the shows near but pretty disappointing.

For all the crap that the warehouse gets, from my experience, they take care of their disabled members quite well. I got my usual pair for each night of Hartford again this year.

I was disappointed with lawn for N2 of Hartford and N2 of SPAC but got 100 N for the first night of Hartford. It will be the closest I have sat for any DMB show, I'm pretty pumped about it.

Should be a great weekend!

Its crazy in Hartford but I just tend to lay low with friends, have a couple drinks and head to my seats.

Its not as bad as a lot of people think just so long as your in the mindframe to just enjoy the show and not worry about what high school kids and whatnot are doing on the lawn.

Two things need to happen that i've been thinking about.

1. someone needs to throw up a Whalers jersey for carter to wear
2. somehow someone needs to tell RaShawn to incorporate the brass bananza into a song. the place may collapse if this happens.

we should get some people to throw in for a jersey - get carter's name on the back and i can throw it up n1. lame, i know. but still sweet.

and doesn't rashawn have a myspace? if so, someone needs to leave him a message.

Just got off the phone w/ someone who was able to tell me that the seating numbers for section 300 go from lowest to highest from center to the side. So say i have seat 301, that is the very closest seat to the center...Just thought I would pass that info along. I am not sure how many seats are in a row, maybe 30?

QFT & ditto about not being able to wait. Turns out section 600 row UU is pretty much dead center. Perfect view. My night 1 section 400 seats are a bit to the right but, both nights are going to be kickass. Hopefully Shotgun will return again @ Hartford like last summer. :upyours
