Show is fucking awesome. Not only is the performance great, but it's enhanced by some particularly interesting set choices from Dave.

Not saying Some Devil sucks or anything, but that album has made Dave solo shows really stagnant set-wise.

Love the Raven and Fool To Think. Plus a great and rare Ain't It Funny. :upyours

Right before Gravedigger....

Dave: "Hope ya'll have a nice halloween"

Audience: Cheers wildly

Dave: "yeah, fat chance."

The lines leading up to Fool To Think make me crack up every time.

"Ehhhhh I don't care if this makes me look like I got tits."

Very glad they released this, it sounds great. In my book there are only two essential Dave solo shows and this is one of them.

9/11/92 is the other, and I certainly hope you've all picked that one up by now.

This show is a sign of some really unique shows to come hopefully. That fact that this was one of the first 5 is awesome.

are there any problems with this one?

"Checking Java version...this could take a few moments..."

Haven't heard it in awhile, but I remember really liking Space Between in this concert. He changed the tempo or something, but whatever it was (I can quite remember) it worked really well.

01-26-2009, 04:13 PM
I think I'd kill to see a full a Dave solo show. It seems like it would be a really unique experience.

04-13-2009, 08:14 AM
AIFHTSA (:lol) is fantastic on this.

04-16-2009, 11:39 PM

This show + great headphones is so terrific. DM should play solo more often.

07-20-2011, 03:10 PM
Eh I find most DM solo shows to be boring but this one is essential. Just a great show.

+1. This and the D&T '03 versions made me start to like the song... to the point I was even really excited when I saw it as an opener at Camden '04. Before I heard it solo/D&T, I would have been straight up pissed if it opened a show

It's been a while. I think I'll throw this gem on tonight.

Top 5 all time.

I always kind of liked FTT. It's easily the best song from ED in my opinion. But the song that shines most on this one in that respect is Space Between. The lyrics are still pablum, but the double-timed guitar part makes it a lot more interesting to listen to.

This was another one that I had forgotten my love for. Such a great show, and as others have said, I'm not normally a Dave solo guy, but this one is full of great song choices and unique performances. So glad they put this one out.

Same here. Doesn't get enough love. Still floored that we got a release of this, it was a great pick.
