If you take 85 in, go west on 285. There will be some traffic, but it shouldn't be too bad. Now, when you get to 400 north, then I'm sure there will be some bad traffic....probably just like how it moves when shows were at Lakewood. I'm not sure if my sister and I are going that way. We may take an alternative route there from Lilburn. Just don't know yet.

I live in Cumming but work in the ALP, so Verizon is right behind my office. Quite convenient actually. :D I'd say for the money, Miller's is pretty good. It's close and the beers are CHEAP there. Not to be snobby, but I usually pay whatever for beer...I'm more about the ambiance so the places I go tend to have some inflated beer prices.

I don't know how they are...I'm not sure if there's a lot of sun...I'm just assuming there is. This place is new to me and my sister. From what I've heard from friends, it is supposed to be really nice....definitely a step up from Lakewood (RIP). Definitely makes it easier to get to and from up on the northside....no more I-75/85-I-20 traffic shit. THat was ALWAYS sucky. I'm not sure who here went to the show in '04 (& I think '06), but it rained like a mofo and driving back home was impossible as the I-85/75 was a freakin' river.

Gotcha. Your comment just made me think about Charlotte's huge gravel lots which are like hell in the summer. After I posted I thought, 'idiot, most lots are going to place people in the sun.'

I went to the '04 show. We were in what seemed like constant downpours from Columbia to Atlanta. When the rain got really bad my Jeep top would leak right on my friend. I get hell about it to this day.

LakeHOOD was the biggest POS. I've been waiting since '96 when I moved here for them NOT to play there, so this is a sort of homecoming for me. This place is beautiful...brand new, well manicured, kind beers with decent prices, a very nice staff and an excellent sounding venue. The set up as far as the amphitheater part is like a mini Lakehood, but not a bad seat in the place. You can even hear songs from the men's room! :p I've already seen about 6 or 7 shows there and have not had one bad experience. There's many ways to exit and they do a great job exiting the crowd unlike Lakehood and the "one way out" theory.

Yeah, those lots are truly right in the sun. Great set-up nonetheless. I really liked going to Charlotte.

If any of you are curious about parking and traffic I saw an ad in Creative Loafing this past week that had all that kinda stuff in it. Can't wait for next week!

A question for those that have been to 2 night stands...what's the best way to try and meet the band? I know Alpharetta well and was thinking that it'd be a good idea to hit some of the cooler bars and/or restaurants in the area.

alright, I think I just landed some solid tickets so I am selling my ticket to each show. Figure N1 no one wants since its 102 T I believe, but for N2 I have a single in orch 2 row C. Who wants it?

Sage is right around the corner from the amp real nice restaurant. So there is a bunch of us meeting at Millers ale house ok mansel road. Anybody that wants meet up please drop by and have a few cold ones.

I just don't see the band hitting Sage...IMO, it's a little bit too upper crusty.

I may swing by Miller's one of the 2 nights.

I know Hudson's off of Highway 9/Windward Parkway has DMB deals going on cuz I just was there and saw the posters. Free apps with a ticket stub and cheap brews.

I was thinking the band might hit up some of the better (but more expensive) pubs in town for beers and eats.

I hope to make it over there. Gotta talk to my buddy tonight about tailgate plans.

Just landed a single in Section 2 Row A for N2. Woohooo. Driving down from Nashville. Cannot make Tuesday's show because of a final.

Miller's Ale House was good. Yeungling hit the spot! Jambalaya was smokin'...too bad I wasn't that hungry. It was good shit! Don't know who else was there, but I know there were some DMBers there.
