i hate driving across PA...after State College there is nothing but this might happen...had such a shitty time in 07. It was a nightmare getting out of there, and plus it was right after Pitt got nailed with rain and it was just a muddy nightmare walking up that lawn after the show.

Driving across PA is easy as pie. The setlist isn't bad at all:

I81-S :segue
I80-W :segue
US-220-S :segue
I99-S :segue
US-22-W

I actually think Burgettstown is one of the most under-rated stops each year. They always (except for 07) play 2 nights, its always on the weekend, the tailgate is always righteous, and the setlist are usually pretty good.

i just had a bad trip...

-got stuck in hardcore Pittsburgh traffic and got stuck on some bridge. It was like 100 out and my car was at the point of over heating.
-then I sat forever getting off the exit for the venue.
-then got parked probably in the last parking lot all the way on top.
-then the shit with the mud on the lawn(had pavilion but walked up the lawn to leave)
-and the horrible traffic leaving that made Hersheys seem 100 times better
-then my buddy had something to do the next day and we drove the 278 miles home after the show....just a long day

and on the way back i took

I-79 N
I-80 E

i think it worked alot better then all the backroads on US 220

Sorry about your bad trip. You have to get there by 3 at the latest. We usually get there about noon and park on the side of the road outside of the entrance and wait. You can usually throw down a couple of beers, smoke a j, and even fire up the grill if you want out there.

ya I think i got there around like 5:30 by the time I parked it was almost 7...walked in and caught some of Toots (would have rather still been in traffic) and then the show. If the shows are in August and SPAC and Hershey and Scranton are in June this maybe a possibility...i'd like to make a return trip to Blossom again...that place is pretty cool.

I think Blossom is the most beautiful venue (other than The Gorge) on the entire tour, but their setlists usually suck there (except for last year).

If this is true I'll 100% be there. Actually, I'll likely be there no matter what, it's a short drive from Columbus.

I'd expect a Trey appearance at the show before this one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that somebody from DMB guests during the Phish show though, which I think is a reasonable possibility.

I won't be camping, I'm staying in the city.

I'll be holding off on tickets for these shows, not requesting through the Warehouse, and purchasing them down the road.....gotta scour the boards. I can't pay for 5 shows all at once in early March, so these two are out for now.

I'll be going, this will be my 4th 2 nighter there. Last year we actually left late from my house in Pittsburgh, and there was no traffic. We left around 5:30, ate dinner at a restaurant on the way, and were in the parking lots before 7. The traffic always builds up between 4 and 5.
