Why I Am, by Dave Matthews Band

This song has some pretty interesting things going on - lots of abrupt time changes and variations on its central riffs/chords. So rather than try to tab it from start to finish, I decided first to lay out the main pieces of the song, and then explain how those pieces fit together afterwards.

Spaceman, by Dave Matthews Band

Note: I added 1/8 note beats under the verse sections because Carter is doing some stuff in there that makes it very tough to find the beat (if

it helps you keep track, he tends to hit the snare or give a rim click on 1, the second 1/16 note of 2, and 4).

Amazing. Shit, these songs are a lot harder to play than everything on SU.

Well...while there's more to them than Stand Up, I just learned both of these in about 5 minutes. They seem really easy. I was just going to make a post saying that so far Dave's guitar work seems a little weak, though admittedly, I like the tunes.

Most of Dave's guitar parts aren't hard at all. Most of the Big 3 is pretty simple to play. Doesn't mean it isn't great, same goes for these tunes.

This is true. Other than a few exceptions, the majority of BTCS is barre chords and open chords. It's probably just a byproduct of writing in a band atmosphere as opposed to writing entirely on your own.
