looks like a good show.

I think the 6.26 from the same venue is probably better, if I had to guess.

"Shut the fuck up!" -> nasty BWBF solo kicks some serious ass. And people actually wanted to say the versions we got this spring were more than teases.

Really digging this show more than warfield.

heh, yeah...I was going to mention the "shut the fuck up"

and agreed on the teases...

I like the Warfield show more, but this is certainly enjoyable.

i went to several shows at the bayou that year....i dont remember much from them, but i do remember this show was right before easter and just about every frat boy was back in town from school and the show was filled with assholes....not that there weren't a bunch of college kids in june, but the bayou would just get packed by assholes on weekends of major holidays...i think the one in novemeber was right after thanksgiving.

Around the 4:30 mark of Blue Water when some fans are getting loud as he is just starting his solo.

Yeah, that was 12/31/93.

I love this release. Some kinda of meh moments. Granny isn't all that great and some of the solo performances are kinda whatever but as was mentioned Jimi just owns, and I really love Minarets here.

I bet it is an AUD, just one no one knew of, so they could sell it.

Doesn't sound much like a SBD to me. In the least it's one of the worst I've ever heard.

Yeah the sound on this one is not great. I can listen to '93 SBDs for free that probably sound better than this, or at least on the same level.

Still think it's very cool that they released an old, unknown show, but I'll skip this one and hope for something better. It'd be cool if they dig really deep, and give us some unknown stuff from '91 or '92. I'd forgive sound quality if we could get something that old.

priceofacoke910

Pretty decent show, though there are definitely better shows out there from 93 with better audio quality. Even I knew the Boyd comment was coming Blue Water, it still caught me off guard.

I bought this, but I'll probably never listen to it. They caught me with an unheard 93 show. Ah well, I guess it is nice to have for that at least.

10/1/93 would be a good release. The tape is incomplete and bad quality, but what we have of the show sounds really good.

Jack
09-23-2009, 09:30 PM
It's definitely a sbd, migt be a schoeps matrix as there are a few from this period. There seem to be mics involved at the least.

However, selfishly, at my age, the level mastering on this make it superior to most '93 flat sbds anyway. It's nice not to have ride the volume. also, we can't ask for these old shows and then bitch when they are not perfect. I love this show.

Hey Guys

I need help in order to complete the cd covers. I need someone who can send me the track listing of this show, as it goes in each cd.

I do now own this show, and I donīt know the tracks that goes on the first, second and third cd.

If you can help me with this, please mail me the listing to marcelo.stephani@gmail.com

Peace!

He's on point for the entire show. This is definitely one of his best releases.

Just checking this one out. It's amazing how quickly the "classic" DMB sound snapped into place after Peter left. I guess that just shows how dispensable he was. This Blue Water is one of the best.
