going to be cool to have two shows that are not known to circulate. Good job dmb crew!

Nothing like some news of mid-90's releases to get the DMB juices flowing!

After the awesome Horde run these September '96 shows still stack up. Can't wait to take a listen.

this is where it is at. Favorite release in a long time. Not talking bad about the 7/95 show, but this set is much more interesting.

I love that we have an official released version of Watchtower with Ben Harper and Leon Mobley. All my tapes of his guest appearances are terrible quality, so this is a big treat.:upyours

Yeah, I really enjoyed the '95 show, but I'm about halfway through this one and definitely digging it a bit more. And I haven't even gotten to the Recently and the DIDO in the encore yet.

great seek up.

still wish there was more crowd and a bit more weight to the sound in the mix, but it's not a big deal.

for some reason '96 is the arbitrary line in my head where i want the mixes to be more "professional" - live trax style, and i don't necessarily have a good reason for it.

I like the sound of this one much better than the Oct. '96 DMBlive show.

#41 is best as a 9-10 minute song, IMO.

Has that happened yet? I feel like stealing from DMB after Randall's Island for some reason.

Ya really not a fan of them fading Harper's loop out.

Checking this one out for the first time tonight. It's a good show, until Billies, when it suddenly becomes a great show. I mean, it's solid throughout, but damn, they really kick into gear at the end and for the encore. I'm relatively indifferent to Ben Harper in general, but I like what he adds here. But that Recently and DIDO are the highlights for me. I'm going to have to go back and listen to the Austin show again, but I think this might be my favorite released '96 show (aside from LT7, of course). Man, that is one funky assed Recently.

my most listened-to DMBLive release. Recently is great, and I love this version of LIOG. Excellent Billies and I dig Leon on DIDO although he's a bit high in the mix.

Yeah, I honestly don't even critique the mixes on the DMBLive releases. There are times when I notice something grating, but given what they are, I'm just happy to have them.

Giving this one another spin, and wow, this LIOG is fantastic.
