Venue Information:
IZOD Center (originally Brendan Byrne Arena and known from 1996 until 2007 as Continental Airlines Arena) is a multi-purpose arena, in the Meadowlands Sports Complex, in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States. It opened in 1981 and has a maximum seating capacity of 20,000. It is primarily used for sports, concerts and other various shows and events.

It was formerly home to the New Jersey Nets of the NBA, the New Jersey Devils of the NHL and the Seton Hall Pirates of the NCAA. The Devils and Seton Hall have since moved to the Prudential Center, in nearby Newark, while the Brooklyn Nets will move to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. It hosts part of the Fordham Rams' men's basketball schedule. The arena attracts spectators and fans from the New York metropolitan area and New Jersey.

IZOD Center frequently is cited near the bottom of arena polls. It is commonly referred to as "cold and dull" in appearance, as well as being "cavernous".[24] In a 2005 poll, USA Today rated it the worst arena in the NBA, with the distance of the inexpensive seats from the court, and the level of crowding in the concourse after the game cited as reasons.

:upyours Yeah, looking forward to it. We're taking my 16 y.o. daughter to this one, it will be her 3rd show. She was bummed when I didn't get her a Brooklyn ticket.

edit: I wasn't clear, I am only going to Night 2.

Just saw this post. From what I see on Google Maps, it might be easier to walk to/from the show from the Econo Lodge, it's literally right down the road.

Edit: On second thought, that route, despite being .7 miles, looks shady. Just drive and pay the $25 each night.

yep i was contemplating walking too until i saw the area. im parking at redds (right down the road from the econolodge). its 22 bucks and they shuttle you to one of the main gates and pick you up at the same gate. shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes.

Sounds like a humongous pain in the ass to have to worry about a shuttle.....why the aversion to just driving half a mile down the road to the arena lot?

Exactly. The IZOD parking situation is not bad at all.

Also, I was just checking the WH boards and someone said the shuttle from Redd's only runs before the show, and you're on your own post-show. I'd suggest calling them....
