Venue Information:
The Klipsch Music Center (formerly Verizon Wireless Music Center and originally known as Deer Creek Music Center) is an outdoor amphitheater, owned by Live Nation, located in Noblesville, Indiana. The center is the largest outdoor music venue in the Indianapolis metropolitan area of central Indiana, with 6,000 seats under a pavilion and 18,000 general admission lawn seats. It is used mainly for large concerts, but is also frequently a host for high school graduations and political rallies. It opened in 1990 at a site along Sand Creek just north of Exit 10 on Interstate 69 near the junction of former Indiana State Route 238 (at the time also known as Greenfield Avenue; now rebuilt and renamed as Southeastern Parkway), 146th Street, and Boden Road.

I remember back in the day my friends and I were one-show per summer (Riverbend). Then, someone had the bright idea "Hey, you know they're playing again next week less than 2 hours away."

Thus began the "DMB Road Trip" era of my life.

It was a good run, but I think Alpine was better. Combined, all four shows I saw between both venues were brilliant.

I'm on the fence. I hate missing the creek. I found tickets available for N1 on live nation but I need night 2 if I go.

Ugh, my first one night stand at my favorite two-nighter. If I didn't have a show Saturday night I would hang around for all the fun

Weekend just hit the 10 day forecast.

Friday: Mostly Cloudy, high of 85 (10% chance of rain)
Saturday: Scattered T-Storms, high of 83 (60% chance of rain)

Still can't imagine it would be worse than 2010 as far as rain goes.

I can deal with scattered thunderstorms...just so long as it doesn't change to "severe thunderstorms" it's all good.

Well it's Indiana, so that forecast will change 20 times by next weekend

Yeah, long way to go especially when it comes to rain.

As long as it isn't 90+ it'll be fine.

Yeah -- I'm lawning these two shows so no rain at all would be preferable. :lol

My tickets arrived yesterday. That sealed the excitement. So ready for these shows...and kudos to the band for maintaining the steam this tour. I was itching for a show right after Blossom. That's the first time in many years where they left me with that feeling...I've tended to be content for awhile after a show these last few years.

As long as the humidity isn't horrible I'll be fine. I can stand 90+ degrees, but HATE when it's so damn humid

I have a pair of pav tickets available for n2 if you know anyone looking for a pair. Not the greatest location (D/V - which why I upgraded), but I'm willing to take less than face too.

See you guys at the creek :rawk
