In my opinion, Inception is only a good movie if you believe that there is a "reality level". Otherwise, what's the point?

i think there is a reality level where all these people, places and technologies exist. so the point is there just as much as it is for the dream levels you consider dreams. i just think we're about one level away from seeing the reality level.

the kids wearing the exact same clothes as in his dreams/visions of them and being in the same position only switched around is a big red flag that he was dreaming at the end. but i completely agree about a "reality level" and that's why i hate IT WAS ALL A DREAM copout bullshit in general. it's cheap and stupid and nolan's better than that.

Yea but that's not what I meant. I mean that the "reality" level in the movie is reality.

it doesn't matter anyway, dreaming or not they accomplished their mission and he got home and that's all that matters.

But, given the choice, I believe that Cobb had to make his own reality to find his way home. I believe that the ending was a dream.

This probably isn't the type of movie for most people on here -- but The Kids Are Alright was really good. Most of the theater was female and over 50 though, I even felt young.
