Maybe it's on their minds. I adore that song. Would have enjoyed a foil version, but oh well. Very odd offering indeed.
That said, Dodo would sound absolutely perfect with this lineup.

I was listening to Sirius via the mobile app last night around 7 pm EST and heard the most kick ass version of Captain ever. Lots of guitar on the outro. When I tried to see the show the screen kept thinking and eventually the song ended. Anyone know of any recent versions that I should check out, or even better the one in question?

Cool interview. Great story about the soprano sax. I can’t imagine it gets any bigger than getting a call for a gig at MSG for a brooklyn guy.

I knew they removed the "The" from "The Dave Matthews Band" when they reissued R2T in 2014, but I never realized that they updated the stereogram too (still a peace sign, but the original looks like TV static while the new one has a much clearer repeating pattern).

"I did not sleep on Thursday night. I was totally wound up. The main preparation was figuring out the songs—I didn’t know what the set list would be for Friday."
How fucking dumb can you be? Setlists for both nights should've been written as soon as Dave found out Jeff had Covid. Absolutely ridiculous to have this much notice and then just throw him out there not knowing what's going to get played. This wasn't a one off show in Missouri. It was a blockbuster last stop weekend at the Garden. To not give him the best shot of coming in prepared...Dave is a major asshat. People flamed me for "not knowing the inner workings of the band," but here you are. Look how dysfunctional this is. You can always count on DMB for that. |

I know we’ve said it before and know Rashawn gets shit here, but props to him once again for being able to help like that.

as much as I could do without RR, watching him direct in these clips - he most likely "saved" these shows

I have never been able to spot the hidden image on the RTT album cover. A peace sign you say?
