Then you don't get music.

Practicing for a dmtb gig coming up in Evansville. We're doing a back in time tour and playing the Busch 08 show. Watching a few later videos of so damn lucky and man Carter almost ruins them. I never thought I'd say it but it's just a mess with the constant china's and snare hits. Just a random thought

This is pretty interesting. However, I would think the biggest impact we would hope it would have would be on ticketing, but the article seems to state that that was not part of this sale and will remain the jurisdiction on TM? But, I'm sure a ton of variables play in to ticket allotments received by the wh.

This band should listen to June 08 again. That's what 3.0 should sound like. Rashawn was even mostly bearable still.

That Busch show was awesome. Fantastic two step with really cool intro lyrics. One of the last great ones before the time bomb bullshit started.

Yeah June '08 was really special. Having Tim back in the band just really put a whole fresh vibe and sound on things and they were having fun again and it really showed. That's why I'm totally on board with the band doing some sort of lineup change/shakeup again. I would love to have Bela or Danny Barnes just sit in with DMB for an entire summer tour, or maybe a different keyboard player. Something like that would help spark stuff again.

It was really refreshing putting that show on again for sure. I still say a lot of the sound now has to do with carter's crazy aggressive playing.

Gonna be fun to recreate that show!

Old person note: the time period between June '08 and today is greater than the period between their first show and the LWS.

Damn that's mind blowing to think about to be honest. The first 9 years '91-'00 involved 3 studio albums and basically a rough 4th album, 5 Total if you want to count R2T. Close to 10 chart topping radio hits. the last 9 years we've seen only 2 albums, with like 3-4 "hits" that didn't top any charts. that kind of speaks volumes to me.

The time WWYS first came on the radio to the LWS is a shorter time than From when Funny The Way It Is became a radio hit until now.

Ha that's a good clip. Always liked that clip of him in C'Ville when the guy in the trench coat came on stage and he got really pissed because security was slow to get him. Which led to Stay instead of Last Stop...
