I think Bond and Ghostbusters should switch - Ghostbusters in October due to Halloween (duh) and then Bond in November.

Godzilla vs. Kong trailer is out. I like the first Godzilla movie and the second one was good when it didnt involve humans. This one has my attention for sure.

It looks fine. I liked Skull Island ALOT more than Godzilla King of the Monsters.

I did not really like either Godzilla movie and thought the human characters in both films were boring, despite mostly being made of good actors. Kong was a little too long, but overall I enjoyed it much more.

For all of the cool monsters and constant action, I agree that the last Godzilla movie did nothing for me. Not only did I never care about any of the characters, but the whole movie just felt like it was just checking boxes, moving from one set piece to the next. It never really felt like they were building a cohesive narrative to me.

Yeah, good call. I got really confused at one point when Daniel was talking about some events that I didn’t remember, and then realized that I never actually saw the third movie.

Yeah, it's been 6 years since I've seen it, but I remember kind of enjoying the first half hour, then my brain gradually shutting off into boredom and disinterest. But then again, that's my situation with about 80% of action movies. I can count the number of action movies I've enjoyed in the last 10 years on one hand: Mission Impossible Fallout, Mad Max Fury Road, The Edge of Tomorrow, Logan, and Skyfall.

I wasn’t sure if I had to. That’s good to know. I finished the first two. I’ll watch the third, and the one with Hilary Swank. I’m not gonna bother with the reboot. Lol

You definitely don't need the Jaden Smith one... but that will explain why Will Smith is credited as a producer on Cobra Kai.

The third movie is definitely important. They are so good at drawing from the original trilogy for this show. It's really just great.

finally got around to Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island. Godzilla was extremely boring, but absolutely loved Skull Island.
