Lol. That's an ad from ticket brokers on "How to get tickets" for two shows that never even went on sale.

They're trying to presell the tickets then cover the inventory later. Honestly, I'm not even sure why it's worth the effort for them, but I sure as fuck wouldn't be handing over money and hoping they'll refund it later.

I’m sure it was. I see acts all the time that people would give me a hard time about as well. I was just being silly.

Hung truss/PA/stage for Gin Blossoms on NYE 2018 at a casino. The turnout was...disappointing for everyone.

Life resumes.

The 70-80% of people who get the shot aren't going to tolerate sitting around and doing nothing because of the 30% who are utter morons refuse to get it.

Otherwise, legitimately, what's the endgame here?

I don't know what you're responding to. I'm talking about when we're at 55% have gotten vaccinated and we can't get anymore people to be vaccinated. Life doesn't resume. We continue to be at grave risk in the midst of the pandemic.

The vaccine is not 100% effective and the virus continues to mutate. We will be chasing our tail.

It's not a deadly virus to 99% of the population, 55% is plenty to have herd immunity. And so far none of the mutations have proven to be deadlier to any significant amount. As you said also, the vaccine isn't 100% effective so even if every single person in the world got vaccinated it doesn't guarantee anything. Would it be better? Probably but we have to accept that there will be people that don't want this.

They’ll do vaccine passports for concerts and there will still be spread, so they’ll say booster shots and new vaccines are necessary. It’s endless.

Foo Fighters just pushed their June European dates back to 2022. No surprise.
No announcement on US summer tour.

Or, over here in actual reality: if they do require vaccine passports, some people will lie, because they're idiots and don't believe in vaccines. So the virus might still spread at passport-required events. The more any virus spreads, the more likely it is to mutate. Once it mutates, even vaccinated people can get reinfected. Thankfully, we have scientists who can respond to the changes in the virus and create booster shots. And then vaccine passports might need to require those booster shots as well. And still idiots who think vaccines are the problem will cause the whole cycle to repeat. It's endless.
