That reminds me. Has anyone here watched the Ballad of Buster Scruggs? I thought Tom Waits (and Willie Watson) stole the show. Fun movie if you're into that - and great music.

Best album of the year! (That and the Isbell live album, another glaring omission on your list!)
I havenít listened to a Blues Traveller album since Four, but Iíll try this one out if you feel that strongly about it.

I havenít heard much from Rateliff that I actually liked. I havenít listened to the Isakov album, but I have heard good things about it. Not familiar with the last one.

I was just goofing around, but if this is true you should listen to Straight On Till Morning and Bridge, too.

I’ve said it before, but Bridge is my favorite non-Four BT album.

They're still a perennial favorite of mine, but I just did not get much out of the new BT album. It did however, get me a bit nostalgic and I pulled out some of my old shows to listen to. I'll have to give it another try.

You should definitely give it some more listens. The album gets stronger as it goes on too, the back half is better.

Yes to Truth Be Told... Bastardos is pretty bad

Suzie Cracks the Whip was the next good one after Truth Be Told, IMO

Paul Simon and Thom Yorke are the 2 you've heard, as well?

Love Truth Be Told, except Mt Normal. If it means something to anyone else, great, but I just find those lyrics way too trite. It grates on me.

I think Bastardos had a couple good moments, but I can't think of one song title from North Hollywood Shootout. Suzie was a pretty good album though.
