I saw a video clips on YouTube and I thought Dave sounded great. Really excited to watch the show. Also saw Amanda Shires (and others) up there with Dave during Crazy. Dave with a competent violinist!

Looked like an amazing time last night at the Cornell Tribute. Some great artists up there. Ryan Adams emerged for the first time in about 6 months following rehab and other issues. And knocked it out of the park. His voice is incredible here - especially around 3:50

Metallica's nugs.net catalog was added to streaming, if anyone else has that service. 601 shows/albums.

I like Black Crowes. I was digging CRB too, but Chris Robinson's interview on Howard Stern a couple years ago really turned me off. He just came off as such a prick.

After hearing the two new Vampire Weekend songs, I’m going to go ahead and predict that that’s going to be my favorite album of the year, even though we don’t even know when it’s coming out yet.

There are a couple songs I hate. They just rub me the wrong way. Both by Canadians.

Anyone here ever been to the Ardmore music hall? Looks like it's near Philly.

Watching a fanshot concert from there and it looks awesome. Curious if this is a must-see venue. Always looking for new places to see a show.

I’ve been there twice. Not a “must see” venue, IMO, but the guys doing the booking book some fantastic acts. If I lived in the neighborhood, I’d go broke.

It’s literally across the street from Tired Hands Brewing Co. The upstairs area is above the bar, which is to the left and runs the length of the room if you’re looking at the stage. There’s a “floor” area then a slightly raised area in the back with cabaret seating.

It’s in a Philly suburb (Ardmore,) so it’s pretty laid back. Parking wasn’t much of an issue, plenty of lots and street parking nearby as it’s in a shopping/business district.

Interesting - you were exactly who I wanted to ask.

Lot's of acts I like seem to go there and I've been watching some YouTube fan recordings. It looks like a cool room.

I really want to get out to the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester. It looks incredible.
