Got to spend a night in the ER last night. And I don't have insurance right now. I'm excited.

yeah I think so. I woke up yesterday and I felt about as sick as I've ever been. Like crazy amounts of vomiting. Finally got some ginger ale and I felt fine. So like a dumb ass I decided and try and go to work for 2nd shift yesterday. I was feeling better and really can't afford to miss work.

When I got out of my car I was like "yeah I got this and by the time I got to the door I was so dizzy I just ran to the office to sit down"

My boss came back and was like "yeah you need go to a doctor" and he drove me over to an urgent care clinic. During the exam when she was prodding me she right where my gallbladder is and it was excruciating. She said I needed to go to the ER.

I got blood tests and a CT scan and an EKG. And they gave me an IV with some anti nausea and pain killers. The CT scan came back normal so the doctor thinks it was just gallstones. But I feel much better today.

Oh and my insurance kicks in on November 1st

When you stop smoking marijuana it's normal to have some vivid dreams. It's also common to have pretty intense dreams/nightmares when you get the flu.

I have a big job interview coming up so I've been cutting back on the bud for a little bit, and I got hit with the flu really badly over the weekend. It's like inception every time I lay down

I'm having dreams that are responses to dreams or continuations of dreams from the night before. Pretty trippy stuff

anyway, the flu sucks balls so get your flu shots folks

I guess Denver has had it pretty bad, earlier than normal: [Only registered users can see links.]

Dude. Whenever I stop smoking I have THE craziest and scary dreams. A very similar experience with diphenhydramine (Benadryl). It is now pretty well documented and I get it bad. But sometimes I just need to fucking sleep and it’s the only way. A number of sleeping pills give me the sweats and the weirds.

so the dork in me is coming out. There is a big book case behind me at work. It belonged to the founder of the hotel and most of the books were from his personal collection. I was looking it over yesterday and there is an original 1911 Encyclopedia Britannica set

I'm terrified it will fall apart if I touch it.

Very fair point. Do you know if they're ever handled?

I've never seen anyone touch them. It's a big book case. I'll take a pic when I go back to work on Wednesday. It's pretty cool. Here is a pic from Yelp
