Wolf Blitzer floated the idea that the Barcelona terrorist attack was a copycat of Charlottesville

Excuse me fake news

Not new, he's told that lie during the campaign

This is probably bullshit, but I've seen folks talk about Trump wanting to postpone the next election? Can he actually do this?

Someone took an idiotic poll, but no he can't do that. Elections occur on specific intervals, not like Britain and many other countries where the PM or whoever can call the election

All my friends on Facebook and hypocrite celebs who grandstand about refugees but won't dare step foot in Germany or France will be adding Spain to their lists. I suspect the increase in Spain/Portugal/Italy to avoid refugees was the only thing keeping these economies from collapsing.

So Bannon will be getting the boot soon. I'm not surprised. Just goes to show how loyal Trump really is. Not to say it was a good thing Bannon was there in the first place though...

edit: he's outta there. [Only registered users can see links.]

Bannon was way too soft.

"David Duke on line 1, Mr. President."

Bannon has now called it a Democratic White House and declared war on Trump.

Bannon declared war on Trump's inner circle, not Trump. Who here was saying Trump would be out by summer?

I said he wouldn't last 12 months.

Stand by it. This is untenable.

Mar a largo is gonna be awful empty this year as everyone is canceling their events. Cleveland clinic, Susan komen, the red cross, even a dog rescue group that Ivanka co-chairs just cancelled. Costing trump hundreds of thousands of dollars. And this is just the beginning.

He'll just take more "working vacations" at his resorts to make up for the shortfall.

In a recent interview on my podcast, MSNBC’s Chris Hayes outlined a theory as to why. He argued that it’s wrong to see this as the government defying the president. This, he thinks, is exactly how Trump wants it:

I don't think the president wants to be in charge. I think he wants to sit on his couch and yell at his TV screen and tweet things, but he's almost happy to be able to kind of get it out of his system and not have anyone listen to him. I think his optimal equilibrium is hectoring Jeff Sessions but Jeff Sessions not quitting, or tweeting out the thing about transgender service members and the military ignoring him, or tweeting out threats to North Korea and not actually changing American posture.

I think that that we have arrived at a new equilibrium in which both the interior members of his staff, the actual federal bureaucracy, the US Congress, the US public, the global public, and global leaders all basically understand the president is fundamentally a bullshit artist and you just shouldn't listen to what he says.

The great pumpkin will emerge from seventeen days on the golf course tomorrow night to announce he's sending thousands of soldiers off to war to die so he can try to distract from his innumerable failings.

Welp, I was hoping he'd announce a withdrawal in Afghanistan. Although, the Iraq withdrawal was scam, they took the troops out and sent contractors in.
