Expecting management to honor a date mentioned weeks (months?) ago is a fool’s errand. I wouldn’t be shocked if April 1 comes and goes and we still know nothing about a release date.

Again, seeing as April 1 is Easter Sunday, it seems pretty clear that was never a serious date to release album info in the first place.

If they were even remotely serious, they would've looked at a calendar before posting it and changed it to April 2nd.

Isn't the April 1st date only listed on Ticketmaster/LiveNation's album redemption page? I didn't think DMB or the Warehouse ever had April 1st mentioned anywhere.

That's it, Sir.
I understand.

I like the idea of what they're doing and I think it's worth it to postpone the album given the circumstances. I hope they take the time to get it right. It doesn't sound like they're going make the same mistakes they did the first time working with Batson so as much as I hated Stand Up I'm not going to let that colour my feelings. If the idea doesn't land I won't be shocked but I hope they make something they believe in and I hope that feeling translates to the listeners. They should take all the time they need.

Yeah, it's April 1st. But no, they didn't say April 1st to pull a prank on us.

I always really liked that one. Not the best lyrics, but I liked everything else.

Why it wasn't on the actual album (along with #27 and Beach Ball) is a complete mystery to me.

Yeah, it's definitely a nice breezy summer song that would be great in the setlist for a "fastball" song and it seems more put together than some of the newer songs the band has debuted.....

Should've made the final track list over Alligator Pie. It's all Stella's fault.

I like Write A Song, definitley a middle of the road, average at best and really cheesy bad lyrics, but the chorus is really groovy and I love that part, and the melody is good too. Certainly better than most of the ‘15/‘16 tunes. I can see why it didn’t make it on BW though, it is kind of bland production wise compared to the other songs.

I actually think alligator pie is one of the stronger tracks on BW. I always liked it and thought lyrically it was better than some of the other ones too.

AP is not good and should’ve been replaced with the much stronger Write a Song for sure

I really enjoy Alligator Pie live. I’m not a big fan of Write a Song whatsoever.

I think the music in WAS is pretty good. Lyrics are cheesy. Both it and AP are pretty forgettable either way.

I am new to spotify. Would this album show up on there on release day or how does that work?

I find a lot of sweet sentiment in the AP bridge, and the rest of the song gets me grooving. Its fun as shit to play on guitar. I watch that Optimum Portugal performance of the song and it think it rocks pretty good.

New Facebook post from the band pimping the summer tour says, “New Studio Album Coming This Summer”.

I’d guess we’re not going to hear this thing before the first show.
