This should've been the Hartford 2 night weekend. Still don't understand why they put Hartford on a Friday and patched Mansfield 1 night Saturday.

Just pulled 600s yesterday so ill be driving down and back tomorrow night.

Ended my tour in Hartford on 7.12.14 was here, so it will be fun to pick up where last tour left off.

Branford guesting will be a great treat as well.

Did they really go back to calling this shithole Meadows Music Theater in 2009? It wasn't named that for dmb that year. I think it was Comcast.

After a solid run from ATL to Pitt, Jones Beach was a step down, and last night was kind of a disaster. Are we due for an upswing?

Branford being there has to help but I thought the same about Warren last night.

Getting the hook up from a friend with some connections, free lower pav tix and VIP lounge, doesn't get much better than that.

This place is a dump, but one that I hold near and dear to my heart. Excited for tomorrow, they have a good track record here so it'll be interesting to see how the first one nighter in forever goes.

And luckily you can get any type of drugs you want in Harford!

Josh, have you been to Meadowbrook? Going for the first time tomorrow. Any advice re: parking. As far as which level to buy for onsite. Or do offsite? Anything really.

I think it's pretty unanimous that this is about the worst place DMB plays.

The sound is actually pretty good in the pavillion, it's just basically a dumpy shed on a landfill in a location that's a stretch of shady motels and car dealerships.

The sound is some of the best there is. But that just allows you to hear the screams better. I also think that that Red Roof Inn claims to be the birthplace of bed bugs. So they got that going for them, which is nice.

I grew up two miles from Meadowbrook.

I wouldn't park onsite. It's kind of like Great Woods in that it's situated off of a low-traffic road and parking tends to bottleneck, so there really isn't any easy way in or out.

If you're willing to walk maybe 3/4 of a mile, I'd park over by Patrick's Pub (if they're open for parking), which is probably the best spot in the area for pre-show drinks (which isn't saying much unfortunately), but when you leave the venue you'll already be at the major intersection in the area and ahead of a lot of the traffic.

But you'll definitely notice there's no easy way to do it, it's just too in-the-middle-of-nowhere.

If after the show you want to get smashed with some townies go down to Weirs Beach and go to Paradise Beach Club!
